William O’ Collins - Area Manager
Will commenced as a 15 year old casual in the south-east suburbs of Melbourne. After working hard to obtain a management role, Will has made the most of his opportunities by agreeing to move Interstate and ultimately managed our largest trading store in the company.
His efforts were further rewarded when he was promoted an Area Manager role after again relocating to northern Victoria.
Wally Toppi / Dom Ceravolo / Jeff Balmer - Managers DC
Wally, Dom and Jeff all commenced working in our Distribution Centre as casuals. Whilst their leadership qualities were soon evident, they were able to demonstrate their commitment and knowledge to best effect when we relocated from our previous DC to a brand new facility at Melbourne.
Their efforts during this period were far and above the call of duty and this was recognised when they were promoted to form the basis of a new management team in the new facility.
Janet Townsend - Store Manager
Janet also commenced as a casual in the south-east suburbs of Melbourne, quickly establishing herself as a person with a great attitude and a desire to succeed.
Her commitment and ability enabled her to be promoted to a Store Manager role at the age of 19. Janet has since gone on to win regional Victorian Young Retailer of the Year Award in 2006.
Most recently Janet has been appointed to New Store Merchandiser responsible for Project Managing new stores openings accross Australia.
Darren Davis - Divisional Manager
Darren joined The Reject Shop after many years experience in management roles in the supermarket industry. Darren’s experience and commitment saw him quickly promoted to a Store Manager role and soon after he was further promoted to an Area Manager role – all within 6 months of joining The Reject Shop.
Darren now occupies the role of Divisional Manager which has responsibility for the performance of all stores located in Sydney and above through to Queensland.
Alisha Fowler- IT Help Desk Officer
Alisha commenced working at The Reject Shop whilst still at school and soon decided to make retail her career. She was able to move quickly through Cadet, Trainee Manager and Assistant Manager roles before becoming a Store Manager at age 21.
In 2007 Alisha moved into IT where her stores experience is proving to be invaluable.
