Andre Reich

Chief Executive Officer

Andre is recognised across the market as a high performing retail executive with extensive experience in low price general merchandise and apparel retail formats. Andre’s retail experience commenced at Myer in the mid 1990’s with time in a number of roles spanning business growth roles, concessions, and buying. He was then CEO of the Australian womenswear retail brand Review in 2007 transitioning the business to its new owners The PAS Group. In 2009 joined Wesfarmers was in key role leading Kmart Australia’s successful turnaround leading the merchandise and marketing functions. Andre transferred to Target Australia as Chief Operating Officer in 2016 responsible for merchandise, sourcing, quality and marketing and spent 3 years resetting Target. Andre commenced as Chief Executive Officer of The Reject Shop in January 2020.


Dani Aquilina

Chief Operating Officer

Dani has more than 20 years-experience in retail including over 8 years with Kmart. Since joining The Reject Shop in 2007, Dani has played key roles spanning production, supplier sourcing, customer distribution, planning and most recently, product development and business innovation. She has a Masters of Business in Supply Chain and Logistics Management. Dani was appointed General Manager of Distribution in January 2013 progressing to General Manager of Supply Chain Planning in June 2016 and later General Manager of Supply Chain and Strategy in October 2018. From May 2019, Dani was Acting CEO for The Reject Shop until January 2020 and now takes over as Chief Operations Officer accountable for process and performance improvement for factory to customer.


Clinton Cahn

Chief Financial Officer

Clinton joined the Company in March 2020 following roles at Crown Resorts Limited, TPG Capital and UBS Investment Bank. Mr Cahn holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Monash University


Michael Freier

General Counsel & Company Secretary

Michael is an experienced legal practitioner with private practice (King & Wood Mallesons in Melbourne and McCullough Robertson in Brisbane) and in-house experience (Repco in Melbourne). In private practice, Michael worked on a wide range of property transactions around the country. Since moving in-house, Michael has demonstrated experience managing property transactions, risk, corporate governance and product safety issues. Michael has held the role of General Counsel of The Reject Shop since August 2016, and he was appointed Company Secretary on 1 September 2019.


Kate Lewis

General Manager Human Resources

Kate has more than 25 years of experience working across large supermarket retailers. She has held both operational and Human Resource positions over this time. Kate has had extensive experience in driving and executing HR strategy across these large complex businesses. Kate’s experience includes developing capability, sourcing great talents, fostering high performing teams and driving process and organisational improvement. Kate joined The Reject Shop in February 2020.


Paul Rose

General Manager Property

Paul is an experienced senior level professional with over 20 years in retail property working with major retailers and major landlords throughout Australia. Paul held senior roles for 10 years with leading ASX listed property trusts and commercial agencies in centre management, leasing and development. Prior to joining The Reject Shop in February 2020, Paul held senior property roles with Wesfarmers owned Kmart from 2009 and incorporated Target from 2016. During this time Paul was part of the property leadership team that delivered major store network growth to assist with positioning Kmart as the leading DDS in Australia.


Carl Wilson

General Manager Merchandise

Carl has spent the last 13 years working within the Wesfarmers group for Kmart and Target. Carl is a highly experienced retailer previously having worked for Ted Baker, Debenhams and Jeans West in merchandise planning to become General Manager in Planning and Merchandise Systems. Carl was an integral part of the Kmart transformation which became the most profitable department store in Australia. After 10 years at Kmart, Carl joined Target in 2016 and worked on the Target transformation under Andre Reich and Guy Russo.
