We want everyone to be a Super Hero at work and sometimes even Super Hero’s need a little help to get started or to improve their skills.
Our 5000+ team members work hard to achieve our vision ‘to enable and inspire people to do more with less’ and our Learning League are on a mission to assist them in achieving this.
We provide learning opportunities to ensure when team members commence, they have a good understanding of who we are, what we do and how they can help us achieve our goals, as well as develop some skills and experience along the way.
We offer a variety of training programs and have highlighted some of our favourites below:
Welcome to TRS
All new team members have access to our Welcome to TRS eLearning modules. These are interacting and informative modules, that provide an overview of our business and what to expect when starting. New team members complete these modules before the end of their first shift.
Our Learning League take store team members through fun and interactive eLearning modules that cover role basics. Super Human, Captain Safety, Professor Profit, The System, Dr Ops and Service Star take team members through a series of eLearning modules. Once completed, team members test this knowledge on the shop floor using their personal copy of ‘Superheroes.. A Beginners Guide’ with the support of their buddy and store management team
Retail Leaders Development Program (RLDP)
These intensive programs run over a series of months and are geared towards getting team members ready for the next level. Content and activities are built around the 3 knowledge areas of Leading Yourself, Leading Others and Leading Business and participant progress is carefully monitored to ensure constant feedback and support.
Power Hour Plus
These 90 minutes of instructional adrenaline transform teams into super-powered productivity machines. They are delivered in our store support centre to improve skills in a broad range of subjects including, feedback and communication, time management, understanding others and resilience.
Our store teams across the country in metro and regional areas have access to our eLearning catalogue via their store tablets or phones. Course content includes essential safety and wellbeing subjects and is constantly growing.
