Bathroom Styling Tips To Get Big Results Without Spending Big

Gold is definitely popping up everywhere at the moment and I have to admit, this isn't a colour I'd usually decorate with. But after exploring this trend further I was pleasantly surprised with just how well this colour works in our home. It's funny how you stick to the things you know. I'm definitely a creature of habit but I soon discovered gold works so well alongside black, charcoal, pink and a good splash of greenery. So I decided to introduce a few subtle hints of gold around our home using the latest range of homewares from The Reject Shop.

First stop was some affordable art for the walls and I couldn't go past the $12 prints in store! In fact I was so impressed with the print collection, I decided I needed 4 different ones! If you're looking to update your walls, then a visit to your nearest store is a must!

I said goodbye to my home office when Olive came along and now I seem to work from the kitchen table. Not ideal for someone who works from home but you seem to make do with the space you have. So I decided to create the perfect little home office nook using this fabulous cork board I picked up for $10. I've always loved having a mood board around me and this is a great size to display my inspirations. The icing on the cake is the size of this little space I've created!

I also discovered soft peachy tones were a great combo alongside the gold. I picked up this canister in store and of course, I decided it was the perfect vase (instead of storing kitchen items or cookies!). I'm also loving this wire basket which is the perfect little fruit bowl or used as a decorative piece. I'm a huge fan of wire ware and for $7, this is a winner! (I had to get the charcoal basket too!)

This is proof you don't have to spend a fortune when decorating. I'm still admiring my $12 prints for the walls! That's definitely my bargain of the week! So if you're looking to update your home without spending a fortune, pop in store to The Reject Shop.
