always find great surprises waiting for me at The Reject Shop. From gorgeous plates and bowls, to great pantry storage options, I never walk out empty handed. It’s a treasure trove for me when it comes to food styling too, with pretty tablecloths, silk flowers and glassware that don’t break the bank.

My latest find has to be the best yet - the Nutri Blast blender. For a fraction of the price of other leading personal blenders, this one makes deliciously smooth drinks, soups, sauces and can even handle my favourite muesli slice recipe! With two different blade attachments included, it handles both wet and dry ingredients with ease. With 5 cups (plus lids!) you can blend and store in the same container, making it super convenient to give something nutritious to the whole family, no matter how busy your morning. No more skipping out on a healthy breakfast as you’re running out of the door!

For lunch, try blending 1 cup vegetable stock with 1 cup of your favourite vegetables for a quick and portable soup. Throw it in your handbag for a nutritious lunch at the office, and save yourself calories and cash by skipping the local cafe options.

I love to make delicious sugar-free tomato sauces by blending a few tablespoons of water with 1/2 cup fresh cherry tomatoes, a pinch of stevia and 1 tsp of white vinegar. By making your own, you can avoid the preservatives, colours or artificial flavours found in so many store-bought versions. Plus it's a great addition to any dinner! This savvy find is a blessing for my tiny test kitchen, being in an inner-city apartment gives me a very limited cooking space, so I’m pleased to report the Nutri Blast has a small base (less than my kettle!) - Great news if like me, you already have a few appliances on the go! Don’t forget to hunt around for other gems while you’re in store at The Reject Shop - you’re sure to discover something else you love.
